APC Takes Campaign To Mushin (PHOTOS)

The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has continued its state-wide campaign rallies in various local governments in the state.
The ruling party in the mega-city yesterday made a stop at one of the state’s largest local government areas, Mushin. Thousands of party supporters trooped to the rally venue to show solidarity with the APC governorship candidate, Akinwunmi Ambode, and other contestants of the party for the local government.
Present at the large gathering were party stalwarts of the Lagos APC including incumbent governor, Babatunde Fashola; APC Lagos Chairman, Henry Ajomale; Lagos West senator, Ganiyu Solomon; APC deputy governorship candidate in Lagos state, Dr Oluranti Adebule; and former deputy speaker of the Lagos state House of Assembly, Olufunmilayo Tejuosho.

Drone Allegedly Crashes Near Maiduguri


An unmanned drone has supposedly crashed at Dumge village of Mafa Local Government Area of Borno State, KSM News, Borno state government media aide’s Facebook account, has reported.
The drone supposed to be used in the counter-terrorism operation in the Northeast.

According to KSM news, a witness Muktar Usman says of the drone on the social media as follows: “It could be French. And what happened after that? The drone is still armed. I can see missiles attached to the wings. Locals have to be careful!

Kidnappers Place N19million Ransom On Nigerian Girl

A kidnapping syndicate based in Niger Republic has demanded the payment of $100, 000, more than N19million, before they could release a 15-year-old Nigerian schoolgirl, Precious Okoro, they abducted last year.
According to the victim’s father, Nwaigwe, Precious was kidnapped in Sangotedo, in the Ajah area of Lagos State, on her way to her boarding school in Ikenne, Ogun State.
The father informed that he got informed about the abduction of his daughter when the school management contacted him to say Precious had not reported in school two weeks after her abduction.

He explained that he reported the matter to the police at the Ajah Police Division, where he was asked to exercise patience.

GEJ, GMB Billboards Pulled Down By Ghanian Authorities

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), over the weekend, pulled down the billboards of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

According to Ghanaweb.com, the order to bring down the billboards was by Ghana’s National Security. The billboards were located near the famous Accra mall.

President Goodluck Jonathan and Senate president, David Mark, have stated in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign rally held at the Metropolitan Square, Ilorin, on Monday, that the party would not allow any form of rigging by any political party in the February elections.

The president also appreciated the large turn-out of supporters at the rally venue, saying he would not encourage government by intimidation if re-elected.
