The presidential running mate of  Rtd. Gen. Mohammed Buhari, Prof Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) has revealed how his mate will tackle insecurity, especially Boko Haram if they are voted in.

Punch reports that Prof Osinbao said yesterday that the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj.-Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) will lead the military to the North-East to fight the Boko Haram insurgents if voted into power on February 14.

GEJ, GMB Billboards Pulled Down By Ghanian Authorities

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), over the weekend, pulled down the billboards of the All Progressive Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

According to Ghanaweb.com, the order to bring down the billboards was by Ghana’s National Security. The billboards were located near the famous Accra mall.

President Goodluck Jonathan and Senate president, David Mark, have stated in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, during the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign rally held at the Metropolitan Square, Ilorin, on Monday, that the party would not allow any form of rigging by any political party in the February elections.

President Jonathan said his administration was committed to free, fair and transparent elections. The president also appreciated the large turn-out of supporters at the rally venue, saying he would not encourage government by intimidation if re-elected. He said he would give the people the ability and freedom to express themselves.

2015 Polls: PDP Chieftain, Others Dump PDP For APC

Less than three weeks before next month’s general elections, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Bauchi State, Alhaji Ahmed Shuaibu, with many of his supporters have dumped the ruling party for the opposition All Progressive Congress, APC.
According to Daily Trust report online, Shuaibu, also known as Raba Gardama, announced his decision to leave the PDP in Bauchi on Monday with hundreds of his followers from the 20 local government areas of the state.

While making the announcement, Shuaibu said: “I have left the PDP and will never go back to its fold again. I now pitch tent with the APC. I have hitherto played active part in the ACN as an ally of Turakin Adamawa, Atiku Abubakar, hence my joining APC is home coming.”

Hackers have carried out a cyber-attack on the website of Malaysia Airlines and threatened to dump stolen information online after posting a glimpse of customer data they have obtained.
However, the national airline said its data servers remained intact and passenger bookings were not affected.
