A couple, Amache and Seun Augustine, allegedly led a
gang of armed robbers operating on an estate at Abule Lemode in the
Ijoko area of Ogun State.
The 4-person gang which consisted of the couple and two others, Taiwo
Dada and Ezekiel Alawode, were caught during a robbery at Santos
Crescent, Araromi Estate, in the state.
Punch reports that the Ogun State Police Command arrested them at about 9.30pm on Saturday, January 17. The robbers were said to have connived with one of the security men in the estate, but were caught by members of the local vigilance group before they were handed over to the Agbado Police Division, Ayinla, on Sunday.
