Wamakko Responds To Lamido's Accusations

Sokoto state Governor, Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, has cautioned his counterpart, Sule Lamido, on his political statements in the country.

Allegedly, Lamido said that some governors who benefited from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have now become betrayers of the party.
Jigawa State governor made this loud statement on January 19, 2015, in Sokoto, Daily Trust reports.
Taking part at the APC rally in Jigawa, Wamakko took the opportunity to respond to Lamido’s accusations:

Sambo Dasuki Wants February Elections Postponed

The National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, has called for the postponement of the scheduled February general elections in the country.

Speaking on Thursday, in a talk at a London think-tank, Dasuki advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to extend the date for the forthcoming general elections.
Ynaija reports that Dasuki advised that the INEC should consider postponing the planned elections for some time in order for it to distribute voters’ cards to all eligible voters.
