Asari Dokubo vows to retaliate attack on GEJ's convoy in Katsina, dares Shekau

Ex-militant Niger Delta militant Asari-Dokubo has vowed to retaliate the attack carried out by some hoodlums on President Jonathan's convoy during his campaign rally in Katsina state yesterday Jan. 20th. At a press conference in Abuja today Asari-Dokubo said for every action, there will be an opposite and equal reaction. President Jonathan's Team Campaigns In Dutse

Incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan with his campaign team from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) visited Jigawa State capital today, January 21st, ahead of February presidential poll.

Cameroon Rescues German Man Kidnapped By Boko Haram

A German man kidnapped six months ago by Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria has been rescued by the Cameroonian forces, Cameroon presidency said in a statement.
According to the statement made public on Wednesday, “a special operation led by Cameroonian armed forces along with security services of friendly nations succeeded onTuesday night in freeing Nitsch Eberhard Robert, a German citizen abducted in Nigeria in July 2014 by the Boko Haram sect”.
Confirming the development. a spokesman for the German foreign ministry informed that Robert was now in Cameroon’s capital Yaounde.
