Lawyers Walk For change In Support Of Buhari, Osinbajo

 
Reports reaching us from Lagos State revealed that hundreds of lawyers have taken to the street of Ikeja, the state capital to show their support for the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and his running mate, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo
The Nation reports that the legal practitioners on Wednesday embarked on a “Walk for Change” ahead the February 14 presidential election in support of Buhari and Osinbajo.
The lawyers who were led by the National Coordinator of the Lawyers4Change, Adesina Ogunlana, walked through some major streets in Ikeja, campaigning for a change of government at the federal level when election holds on February 14.
The walk reportedly started from the Bar Centre of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Ikeja, through Oba Akinjobi Way, Oba Akran Road, Obafemi Awolowo Way, Allen Avenue, Toyin Street, Olowu Street and back to the centre.

I Deprived My Husband Sex For Months, Wife Tells Court

 
A Housewife, Mrs Oluwatoyin Olafare, 45, on Wednesday explained to an Orile-Agege Customary Court, Lagos, why she denied her husband sex  for months.
According to Oluwatoyin , who was seeking a divorce from her husband, Michael Olafare, a clergyman, she decided to punish her husband with because he was no longer caring for her.
The estranged wife also accused Mr Olafare of lack of care.

Police in Imo Defuse Bomb Close to the state's INEC office

Men of the Imo state Police command this morning defused two bombs planted close to the Imo state INEC secretariat in Owerri the state capital. According to reports, the bombs were planted in front of the Owerri Capital Development Agency OCDA and were discovered after a loud noise emanated from that area at about 9.30am today. Policemen are said to have cordoned off the area.

Searchers Located AirAsia Plane Fuselage in Java Sea

The fuselage of the crashed AirAsia Flight QZ8501 has been located in the Java Sea, almost a month after it went missing.

The main part of the jet with one wing attached was found about 1.5km from where the tail section was discovered last week. The information was confirmed by Singapore’s Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen who posted pictures taken by a search robot on his Facebook page.
Searchers located wreckage on the sea floor beginning on3 January, and the flight data recorder and cockpit voice recorder were recovered by 13 January. The devices will help investigators learn what exactly caused the plane carrying 162 people to crash into the sea.
At the moment forty-eight bodies have been recovered from the sea. But more than 100 remain missing and are thought to be inside the fuselage of the plane. However, Indonesian officials said there are no plans to retrieve it yet. Further recovery is in progress.
The crash was the third to strike Asia in 2014 after Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 went missing and is yet to be found and MH17 was shot down.
