In a bid to locate the black boxes of a crashed Air Asia
plane investigators lifted the tail portion of the jet out of the Java
Sea, on January 10, 2015, Saturday, two weeks after it went down,
killing 162 people on board.

The tail was lifted from the seabed in the water between Indonesian islands of Borneo and Java after investigators detected underwater ping-like sounds.
Although it was unclear whether the sounds were coming from the
recorders or not, the operation to hoist the tail from a depth of about
30 metres
