Why Jonathan did not visit Chibok—Yakasai.

      
  Elder statesman and chieftain of the PDP Alhaji Tanko Yakasai over the weekend explained why
 he thinks President Jonathan didn't visit Chibok. He said:

“Why I think the president’s decision not to visit the area is not bad is because we were all aware of the deteriorating level of insecurity in that part of the country. We all know it was too risky for the president to visit Chibok at that time. The president is not a soldier,

UNSC set to vote on Palestinian resolution

Security Council to vote on ending Israel's occupation and a peace deal within a year at 22:00 GMT on Tuesday.


United Nations Security Council is expected to vote shortly on a Palestinian draft resolution
 that calls for a peace deal with Israel within a year and an end of the Israeli occupation of
 Palestinian territories by late 2017.
Jordan's UN Ambassador Dina Kawar said Arab delegations had agreed the draft should go
 to a vote as soon as possible. It was later announced that the vote would take place at 22:00 GMT.

China has blocked the last remaining way to access Google's popular e-mail service, Gmail, experts have said, as authorities work to establish "Internet sovereignty" by controlling what enters the country via the web.
Gmail, the world's biggest e-mail service, has been largely inaccessible from within China since the run-up to the 25th anniversary in June of the Tiananmen Square crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators.

Gunmen kill 15 in northeast Nigerian town

Gunmen believed to be from Boko Haram have opened fire in a remote town in northeast Nigeria, killing at least 15 people, witnesses and a security source have said.
The attack on Monday night targeted Kautikari, near the Cameroon border, just 10 kilometres from the village of Chibok, where more than 200 schoolgirls, who still remain captives, were abducted in April.

AIT reports that the scientist said the two year old boy described as patient zero became infected and was the first to die in his village in Meliandou, Guinea in December 2013.
‘Patient zero’ was Emile Ouamouno, and he was described as a playful toddler by his father Etienne.
Before his death, on December 6, 2013, Emile had been near a tree housing the free tailed bats.
