Pakistani man gets 26 years in jail for hoax bomb threats

 
The hoax calls were made during the busy Eid celebrations in July
A Pakistani man has been given a 26-year jail term for making two hoax bomb threats in two public places in Punjab province in July, prosecutors say.

Assailants on a motorbike have killed a policeman and wounded another in a drive-by shooting in the Egyptian capital, the interior ministry said.
"Armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on the police before fleeing," ministry spokesman Hani Abdel Latif told the AFP news agency on Saturday.
