The crisis rocking the Edo State House of Assembly took a dan­gerous dimension yes­terday as suspected thugs invaded the legislators’ quar­ters and unleashed terror, de­stroying 36 cars belonging to members of the All Progres­sives Congress (APC).
The thugs who apparently came on reprisal attack, following an earlier attack on a former PDP law­maker, Hon. Razak Momoh whose seat has been declared vacant, also shot at doors and windows of seven chalets inhabited by APC lawmak­ers, leaving property worth several millions of naira destroyed on the trail of their operation.

2015: 9ice storms Ogbomosho

Musician turned politician, 9ice, stormed the ancient city of Og­bomosho with a galaxy of stars last weekend. In his entourage were the likes of Lord of Ajasa, Osaniyi and Olalekan Tunde ‘LKT’ Olayade.
The event, which took place at Lautech Main Campus, Ogbomosho, also had Alapomeji Records newly signed ar­tistes, Outrageous Damilare Abdulganiu and Tunde Fasasi on the bill.
Commenting, the President of the Stu­dents’ Union Government, Areo Ajibola Oyegoke said that it is time a youthful person contested for an elective position in Ogbomosho..

Star of Wonder of Lust, Oma Nnadi, has opened up on how her lover broke her heart after a false pro­posal he made while she was a year one student.
The actress, currently on vacation in the US recounted the experience at­tributing it to naivety in a recent chat.

Nigeria’s hope of de­fending her title at next year’s Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco got slimmer yester­day after the Super Eagles were stunned 0-1 by the Jediane Falcons of Sudan.
It was Sudan’s first victory over Nigeria since the East African nation won 4-0 in the first international football between both countries on November 28, 1963. Nigeria had won six out of their 11 previous clashes while both sides settled for draws four times.
