PDP says -- APC is lying about Tinubu’s health,

Asiwaju Bola Tinubu

The Lagos State chapter of Peoples Democratic Party on Thursday urged residents to pray for
the quick recovery of the former governor and national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu,
who it said was ill and had travelled for treatment in a London hospital.
The PDP also urged Tinubu’s family and the Lagos State Government to be honest on the state
of health of the former governor.
In a statement by its Publicity Secretary, Taofik Gani, the party said Lagosians were interested
in knowing the true state of health of the former governor “whose medical bill is being paid with
 their taxes.”
The party said information about Tinubu’s health would help Lagos residents extend all necessary
support to the former governor.
He said, “We wish the former governor, Bola Tinubu, quick recovery as we are made to know from
the grapevine that he is ill and in a hospital outside the country. We also feel that the family and the
state government should have the obligation to let Lagosians know the actual state of his health.
“It will not be a bad thing if the former governor appears on television or speaks on phone for broadcast.
Indeed Lagosians are humanitarian and would readily support him in prayers. Such honest disclosure
will also dispel rumours of his death or paralysis that is being spread around”
There have been speculations that Tinubu was ill in London but his aides and officials of his party refuted it.
On his Facebook page last week, Tinubu’s media aide, Sunday Dare, said, “I find the idle charter on some
online sites about the alleged ill health of Tinubu as amusing. That some idle minds have continued to perpetuate this absolute falsehood to the point of the ridiculous is disgusting.
“They deserve our prayers for wishing what is not on someone else. For the record, Tinubu is in
great shape and his associates who see him and speak with him know this. He is in London
helping the APC spread the word about its mission of change. He returns to the country soon
and those that wish him dead will be put to shame.”

Obama: ‘Americans Are United’ In Fight Against ISIS

PHOTO: This July 16, 2014, file photo shows the U.S. Senate on Capitol Hill in Washington.
The Senate passed a stop gap funding measure tonight, which includes authorization
for President Obama's plan to train and arm Syrian moderates in the fight against ISIS.
The Senate voted 78-22 on the continuing resolution, which will fund the government and authorizes Title X until December 11.
Many Republicans joined Democrats in voting for the continuing resolution, making this a
rare bipartisan showing in the Senate.
In a brief statement from the White House Thursday night, President Obama said ISIS
"did the impossible" -- generate 78 votes for passage of the plan in the U.S. Senate.
The president added that today's vote "shows the world Americans are united."
"I want to thank leaders in Congress for the speed and seriousness" with which they acted
on his plan, the president said.
“It’s a long overdue support for the brave Syrians who are fighting on the front lines against theterrorist enemy,” Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., said.
“There is no guarantee of success. ... There is none but there is a guarantee of failure if we
do not even try and try we must,” Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said of arming and training
Syrian fighters against ISIS. “Despite my concerns about the underlying bill…I will support
resolution because I think it’s in the best interest of our national security.”
But several of the president’s biggest allies, including some with tough re-election fights this November, voted against the measure.
Sen. Mark Begich, D-Alaska, whose Republican opponent in the Alaska Senate race said
he would support the president’s plan to arm the Syrian rebels, voted against the continuing resolution due to their opposition to training and arming the Syrian rebels.
“I disagree with my president,” Begich said. “The rebels of today may not be the rebels of tomorrow.”
Unlike the House of Representatives, the Senate did not hold a stand-alone vote on the bill,
many argued due to concerns of how it would play in the midterm elections this November.
The House had approved authorization to train and arm the Syrian rebels with a vote of 273
to 156 on Wednesday.
The authorization for training and arming the Syrian rebels will run out on December 11th, at which point Congress will have to decide whether it will reauthorize the plan. Sen Dick Durbin
D-Ill., indicated that the Senate will consider a new authorization for the use of military force in November when Congress returns for the lame duck session.
“We are going to take up the construction of a new authorization for the use of military force,” Durbin said. “It’s long overdue. We are living on borrowed time and we’re traveling on vapors. AUMFs passed in 2001 and 2002 are hard to wrap around today’s challenge.”
The continuing resolution now heads to the White House for President Obama’s signature
and gives the president the green light to move forward with his plan to train and arm the Syrian rebels.

Lagos State Governor hosts some Ebola survivors

Lagos state Governor, Babatunde Fashola, today September 18th, hosted some
Ebola survivors at his office at the state Secretariat in Alausa, Ikeja. Speaking with
the survivors, the governor commended them for coming forward to share their experiences,
saying that they are proof that the disease is not a death sentence.

The survivors in attendance included the widow of late Port Harcourt doctor,
Dr Emenuo Kelechi (left), Dr Ibeawuchi Morris (second left), Dr Fadipe Akinniyi (centre),
Mr. Dennis Akagha (late Nurse Justina Ejelonu's fiance) and Dr Adaora Igonoh.
See more photos after the cut...

While sharing their experiences, one of the survivors and staff of First Consultant Hospital,
Dr. Ibeabuchi Morris, said he was the first to receive late Sawyer at the hospital where
he was first treated for Malaria.

He said after the patient continued to have high temperature, he took the blood sample
and sent it to the laboratory, then contacted Dr. Stella Adadevoh who advised him to
continue attending to the patient pending the arrival of the test result. He said when
the blood result arrived it was confirmed that he was EVD positive. Sawyer died a few days later.

Dr. Ibeabuchi disclosed that he started manifesting symptoms of the disease
12 days later as his body temperature continued to rise beyond 38.5 degrees Celsius.
He said when his condition continued to degenerate, he reported to the Lagos State Ministry
of Health and was advised to restrict his contact with members of his family.

According to him, his body temperature got to an all time high of over 40 degrees at
which point the Medical team from Lagos State came and took him to the isolation centre after decontaminating his house. He thanked the Lagos State Government and all the other agencies and individuals who took care of him and made it possible for him to survive.

Another survivor, Dr. Adaora Igonoh, thanked the Lagos State Governor and the
Government for their dedication in the battle to contain the spread of the disease which,
according to her, made it possible for some victims, including herself to survive the virus.

Dr. Igonoh, who is also a staff of First Consultants Hospital, commended the hospital and
the staff for the risk they took to ensure that the disease did not spread beyond the limit it did.
She also paid tribute to those who lost their lives, adding that without their sacrifice, the story would probably have been different.

Also giving his testimony, Mr. Dennis Akagha, fiancee to Justina Akagha, a nursing staff of First Consultants Hospital who died days after attending to Patrick Sawyer, said he got to hear about his fiancee's contact with Sawyer when the death of the Liberian was announced on television. She later told him she'd treated Sawyer.

He said when the symptoms of the disease started manifesting in Justina, they first thought it was pregnancy induced or Malaria because she'd told him she wore protective gloves while attending to Sawyer. He said that on the 14th day, Justina's condition worsened and he took her to First Consultants from where he was directed to the Isolation Centre in Yaba where she later passed on.

He disclosed that he did not immediately go to hospital when he started manifesting the symptoms until he started vomiting and feeling dehydrated. He said he was finally taken to the Isolation Centre where he was treated and discharged after he tested negative of the virus.

Other survivors who gave testimonies were Dr. Fadipe Akinniyi, also a staff of First Consultants Hospital and Dr. (Mrs.) Kelechi Emenuo, wife of late Dr. Emenuo, who treated one of Mr. Sawyer’s companions in Port Harcourt and later died of the disease.

Meet Mother And Daughter Who Are Lesbian Partners

These sick mother and daughter, Mary and Vertasha Carter, are proud to be lesbians partners and are sleeping with each other.

Mary and Vertasha Carter

We are really living in the end times as things that happen these days could well pass for the absurd, weird and odd.
This is the only way to describe a scenario where a mother and her daughter turn out to be lesbian partners and are actually sleeping together. The 'sick partners', Mary and Vertasha Carter, are the first mother and daughter who have come out to boldly declare that they are lesbian sex partners and have shocked the world with their revelation.
The mother and daughter lesbian lovers have truly set a world record and even the liberal United States where they come from is in shock with many saying they are really twisted.
