Sambo rates PDP high in performance

Vice President, Mohammed Namadi Sambo, has commended the efforts of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) government across the federation for its credible performance.
He gave the commendation on Wednesday during a reconciliation meeting in Birnin Kebbi, Kebbi State.

The vice president noted the giant strides of the Kebbi State Governor, Alhaji Saidu Usman Dakingari, in infrastructure development, specifically construction of quality roads, bridges, rise in school enrollment and his provision of excellent medical facilities.
Appreciating the Sir Ahmadu Bello and the Sardauna of Sokoto International Airports in Birnin Kebbi, the vice president expressed delight that such facilities could only be found in PDP controlled states. Such states, he mentioned, included Bauchi, Jigawa, Akwa Ibom, Gombe, Katsina and Taraba States.
Commending the state for being the leading rice producer in the country, he eulogized the farmers for their high yield, stressing that the yield would be further increased with the launch of the Great Green Wall Programme to combat desertification in the state, which was launched sometime ago by President Goodluck Jonathan in Kebbi State.
Sambo used the opportunity to enjoin the people to shun all divisive campaigns that tend to polarize the people along ethnic, religious or sectional lines. He noted that as Nigerians, “we remained one indivisible entity and political rhetoric should not be our bane.”
